Corazon de Los Pargos' restaurant offers traditional Costa Rican breakfast and lunch dishes. The dinner menu specializes in seafood dishes prepared by long-time local, Chef Jota. The groundwork is set for our sustainable coffee project with environmentally responsible farmers in Tarrazu and the Surfrider Foundation in California, USA. Fresh roasted coffee is now available at Corazon de Los Pargos.

Corazon de Los Pargos coffee comes directly from Don Henrry Gutierrez's farm in San Andres de Tarrazu. Don Henrry is from generations of coffee farmers in Tarrazu and is a dedicated environmentalist. His coffee plants are shade grown and fed by rich soil from fallen fruits of the enourmous variety of trees surrounding his coffee. He uses natural carbon in lieu of chemical fertilizer.
In comparison to region's macro-business coffee fields, only a quick look at the hillsides reveals the stark contrast between a sustainable, healthy, and natural ecosytem versus deprived earth, whose coffee produce has become dependent on artificial chemicals.

Corazón de Los Pargos is a welcoming public space, offering guest accommodations in a rustic surf atmosphere. There are currently 3 bed & breakfast style rooms above our street front Café, which houses a traditional Costa Rican sea food restaurant, an organic coffee roaster, and a boutique bakery.
Corazón de Los Pargos' mission is to spread environmental and social consciousness. We are home to the Los Pargos Community Center, which furthers our mission through several ever-growing projects.
